What's Love got to do with it? The Value of Love...cost...NOTHING or EVERTHING

How many of us don't remember that famous title of Tina Turner's popular 80's song?
Well, what does LOVE have to do with it?   Answer:  EVERYTHING!!!
What does it ALL mean ~ because if you don't have Love it all means NOTHING!!!
Behind EVERY action in our lives there is a reason...
Was it for selfishness; perhaps a personal victory...was it to help "ourselves" attain a goal?  OR was it completely SELFLESS and possibly done out of Love?
I ask myself this very question as I sit here and type....  BEHIND EVERYTHING I DO...what is MY motive?
Why did I even get on this computer today to write this Blog...was it to make ME feel better???  Was it to help someone or touch someone's life today to help them put it all together..??
My answer:  I want to touch someone by the words that type in a positive way, whether its because my thoughts may have helped them see something in a way that they may have not otherwise OR they've realized that there life isn't is bad as they thought.
It's easy to love someone lovable, but how much love might we give to the person who isn't that easy to love at all.  We care for and LOVE our families..which seems logical and sometimes easy...but what about out enemies?  I for one can't imagine laying down my life for the people in MY past who've wronged me ~
I don't necessarily mean it in the literal sense of dying for someone...
What I mean is ~ Who do we put first in our lives....what do we VALUE?  Ourselves? our FAMILIES?  GOD?  
It's a question that I find myself thinking about lately on a regular basis...
I mean if we had a boatload of money ~ but didn't have Love or loved ones to share it with...what's it worth, right...  WHAT is money anyway?  Is it more important than ANYTHING in the world?
What if we had all the gadgets and gizmos and toys in the world....a house in every state and abroad and all the stuff to fill those homes, but didn't have someone whom we loved and loved us back to share it with....  WOULD we WANT IT????
I for one...WOULD NOT!!!  Would you?
