Men have feelings?

I have always heard this...but never really paid much attention to it ~ probably because the men that I was hearing it from were acting like girls~
Lately, and very recent I couldn't believe it...  They really do!  AND more than what we think they would have too.
Now, firstly I must premise this secret with some background of myself ~
For the last 10+ years of my life ~ I have been pretty much on my own...no man, no one to fall back on and a son to raise to boot.  SO, having said that... I didn't really have much time for my own feelings much less think for a split second that MEN had them.
Most recently I have learned that there are plenty of REAL MEN ~ I mean...MEN... you know ~ takin' care of business kind of men that get down and dirty to do what needs to be done.  The guy that you see under a car, or out shoveling the driveway when it's 10 degrees out for his family, or the guy who at the last minute at 11pm the night before the garbage goes out (that he's forgotten about) RUNS outside in pouring rain to make sure HIS duty is done and his girl doesn't have to do... A guy that will haggle for YOU when buying a car...a guy that will take care of said car for you when even just the windshield wiper fluid is low...AND start it for you (so your hiney doesn't have to touch the cold seat) when it's too cold to mention A MAN!  Everyone got that?
So, recently my friend Jenny purchased something pretty big... and normally ~ she would have to figure out ...how to get it home and then have the daunting task of putting it together... hmmmm ~ well... that would be alright, so long as she got it...that's all that mattered.
BUT ~ this time... SHE just went and picked it out...(so basically just showed up and said..."yes, that one.") and LEFT~  "No", you say... YES!!!
HOW AWSOME is that???
Then she was off to run some errands...and do you know what...when she came home it was all done!!!
YEAH!
I mean put together (and nicely done) all BEFORE she arrived home ~
AND THE MESS WAS TAKEN CARE OF TOO!
So, what's the problem, right?  NOTHING!!!
Scary huh?
Her guy was sooo proud of what he had done for her and was so excited to show her...
How sweet is that???
BUT, ohhhh her and all her WOMENESS!!!  HAD to just fix ONE small thing~
uuuuggghhhh
Why? WHY? couldn't she just have left it alone???? NOOOOO she HAD to fix this one thing... because SHE...a bit of a control freak and such a perfectionist of her own things...couldn't leave well enough alone...
WELL ~ SHE realized half way through what she was doing and then HE walked in.
HE WAS CRUSHED!!!
"I worked so hard on that..."  "I was trying so hard to make it all nice for you." he said
RIGHT then... Jenny saw in an instant HIS face and HIS eyes... She had really hurt him... said he wasn't  and that it all was fine...BUT she knew otherwise!
Jenny had done what MANY of us do to our men...
She emasculated him!!!
She took away that feeling of accomplishment men get of doing something nice and unexpected for the ones that they love ~
Something that  he was so proud of...  "WHAT A JERK..." she thought!!
"Why did I have to do that?"
She quickly apologized and ran after him ~ but it was too late... the toothpaste had already been squeezed out and it was ALL over the sink...The damage was done. She knew she couldn't put the paste it back in the tube... so, she did the only thing that she thought...She started to put EVERYTHING BACK the way it was.  BUT he was still hurt!!!
"IT wasn't even that IMPORTANT!" she thought to herself~
"HE is more important to me than fixing the thing that was bugging me, why did I have to do that?"
So, when I heard this I couldn't stop thinking how I do things in my life too...  Thinking that MY ways are always better...
MAN! (pun intended) ~  I just want all women to know~
MEN REALLY DO HAVE FEELINGS and we as women do have a tendency to hurt the  men in our lives VERY EASILY and brutally...but many times...without even realizing it!
Be very careful...not to emasculate your man...
After all... do you want him to be a MAN or a WoMAN~
Are we trying to make WIVES out of them and then expect them to be masculine too?
IT CANNOT happen!!!
They can do either or...
Just like we can't be expected to be both feminine and be the MAN of the house...
I for one...I'll take the man being the MAN and I'll handle being the woman.
JUST because we think something is better or could be better or should be done a different way (because we ARE CONTROL freaks) or a BETTER way... remember... THEY tried because they LOVE US!!! BUT if we keep doing things like that...they will eventually Stop trying and then...we will have the NERVE to complain???
They have feelings too and we need to LOVE them for ALL that they ARE ~ not just the stuff that they do!!!
MEN~  More feelings that we thought!!!  and
that's a GOOD THING!!!
